swiss in argentina bariloche

Here is my next blog!!!

last week i have in san carlos de bariloche also known as the swiss of argentina. It is the city where you can get delicious chocolate, icecream, amazing views and there is an overload of hippies who are on their way to el bolson to have a hippie meeting and sing kumbaya, but then in spanish :p.

but before i arrived at bariloche, i was in esquel. A small town where time has stand still for about 200 years. Esquel still has a steam locomotive that runs to a town further up north. I filmed a bit of its departure , it scared the pj's out of me haha i guess you can tell that on the video haha.
Furtermore i did some hiking in the area. I did not want to sit still for the rest of the day. I only stayed for 1 day atvesquel and that is why i made the most out of it. I went to this lake called ' la zeta' which was about 2 hours walking from town. The lake was not too big but still was worth it and made some beautiful pictures.

The next day i went to bariloche and i was luckily that i had to sit next to a grandma that thought she still was 18 years old haha. Thank god she did not try to hit on me haha. Arriving at bariloche i realised i made a mistake. I booked the hostel at the edge of the center. So for everything such as cash, and coffee i had to walk for 30 minutes. However the bedroom was okay. Although i had a roommate that is officially the man that can snore the loudest that i have ever witnessed. Furthermore i could not turn the shower too hard without creating a lake in the hallway. Yes you read it correct in the hallway !!! Haha. If you think i did not have a great time over there than you are wrong because now i will tell you the good stuff. 1 day i went kayaking at lago moreno and it was amazing to see how big everything is from the water up. And i got a free lesson of nature as well. Me peddling along the shore and there was no breeze and suddenly out of nothing the wind blew in and i still had a long way getting back to the bay. I had to do my best to make it back. The very next day i went on the mountain bike. And although ihad fun it was still a shitty bike ihad got from the rental. Because after my first brake test going downhill fast!!! The brake slightly got blocked. And therefore it was almost impossible to bike uphill. Along the way i passed a
small waterfall. I made some pictures of that to show you how beautiful it was. The pictures will tell you the rest of the tour.

After my day mountain biking i went to this swiss chale twith some friends that i met along the road in puerto madryn. We ate ofcourse cheese fondue ver there. It was decorated as in a traditional family where grandpa played the accordeon. I wanted to have his autograph but after a couple of songs he already went to bed. We went quite late around 23.00.

I wanted to do some hiking aswell but the weather changed so fast from 30 degrees when i arrived to 15 degrees when i left with fierce winds. So that did not work out well.
My next destination will be calafate which is a ride of 28 hours by bus :o. Wish me luck guys that i will arrive there in 1 piece haha.
